Fundamentals of Heat Metering in Hydronic Systems

Tue. January 15| 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM | B313b

This session discusses the technical concepts and benefits of heat metering as applied in hydronic heating and cooling systems. It covers the concepts of accurate flow and temperature measurements and how they are used to infer instantaneous rate of heat flow and total heat transferred over time. The session will also describe benefits associated with heat metering in a variety of system applications, concluding with several example systems.
